As a family of four, we recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming countryside retreat for a weekend getaway. the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to York, Whitby, and Scarborough. We particularly enjoyed the nearby village, which offered quaint coffee shops and convenient grocery options. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the excellent accommodation. the cottage was clean and well-equipped, with a spacious kitchen and cozy, warm rooms in the evenings. the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was impressively large. We appreciated the lovely swimming pool and outdoor space, which provided a relaxing atmosphere for our family. One of the highlights of our stay was the private woodland walk on the property. It was a lovely experience to let our dog roam freely in the penned field and explore the natural surroundings. the hosts were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home during our visit. We found thoughtful touches such as cleaning products and kitchen essentials to be a pleasant surprise. The family-friendly amenities at this retreat truly set it apart. the pool, games, and woodland trail provided endless entertainment for all ages. It was a fantastic location for a get-together, with something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, our experience at this countryside retreat was delightful, and we will certainly be returning in the future. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
